I guess this depends on the field, but lots of people doing perf focused game dev, or pl research related stuff moved there, and people are pretty active. It just seems quite self-contained unfortunately
I think people are right to say that technology is just what we make of it, but more and more, we are what it makes of us

Yes, and no. It’s the same, again, as rss feeds, isn’t it? People only occasionally check out the website behind a post. I don’t think there’s a big difference here except the integration with ATProto. But the ergonomics from a users perspective aren’t that different

I’m convinced that contrary to the current push for frontier models in every part of our society and economy it would be way more exciting and beneficial to try and implement smaller models into classical user interfaces for instance. So much unexplored territory here.
