So funny how these fuckers “care about women’s sports” when they use that to bully trans kids but never when it comes to female athletes getting the same pay or opportunities as their male peers. Super cool

Deleted my previous reply because I skimmed the post and thought he based it on income bracket, not tax paid when it’s very obviously the latter lol (still sucks regardless, and there’s also still a reason they’re not basing it on percent of income actually paid in tax!)

The union representing these workers sent me the details:

Canada is burning today, after it’s also been flooding and boiling lately.

But don’t worry — Carney has a plan to offset his embrace of oil and gas: carbon capture and storage.

There’s just one problem. That plan is full of more hot air than Canada’s skies right now.

Let me explain:

People who have money have a disproportionate ability to silence their critics — especially in Alberta.

But several journalists (including me) are joining forces with digital media creators, writers, civil society, unions, academia and lawyers to try to change that.
