So sad to see that Sam Neill died. I sat next to him on a plane from NZ to Sydney. He was so kind, let me hang in the airport lounge w him (!), told me about his animals, and gave recs on what to do in Sydney and drew me a little map of how to get to Bondi. And was so gracious to fans who said hi.

This is such a good essay and deserves re-upping every few months. I've referred so many people to it in the past 5+ years.
