It’s unthinkable that any Senate Democrat would hand them a blank check by voting for cloture.

The bipartisan Restore Trust in Congress Act is a necessary step to ban Members of Congress and their families from engaging in insider trading.

It is time to pass this bill and make it clear to the American people that their elected officials put them first.

School just started, and we are already mourning two children killed and dozens more injured as they prayed during mass.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Congress must act to keep our kids safe.

Republicans have just proposed defunding Planned Parenthood nationwide.

In doing so, they are telling women and people across the country that our healthcare doesn’t matter and that we are undeserving of care.

Three years ago, a corrupt Supreme Court seized our rights and overturned Roe v. Wade. The resulted is just what we predicted. Women dying because they can't get basic healthcare. Doctors afraid to treat patients.

We will not stop fighting until abortion rights are restored.

Republicans are saying that these cuts will be reinvested into Medicaid for people who "deserve" it.

If that were true, the budget would stay the same. But that's not what's happening. Why?

Because down the hall, they are trying to finance tax breaks for billionaires.

It’s 2 am and we’re still marking up massive cuts to Medicaid.

While their constituents are asleep, Republicans are trying to take away health care from 13.7 million people to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

I am sickened by today’s attack in Manchester. Antisemitism is on the rise around the world, and we must do all we can to stomp it out. I am grateful to first responders and congregants who showed incredible bravery, and I am praying for those who were killed.

For-profit insurance companies like UnitedHealthcare are defrauding taxpayers out of $80 billion a year.

HHS Secretary Kennedy claims he wants to "clean up corruption" while he is doubling taxpayer dollars to these companies.

That sounds like the real "waste, fraud, and abuse."

You do NOT have to speak to ICE without a JUDICIAL warrant. If they attempt to enter your home or your workplace, ask for a warrant. Sometimes they will try to use other, non qualifying paperwork. They need a warrant.
