Finally I have found you. We were vultures on the steppe 3000 years ago, and we gnawed the rotting bones of horses together. Tell me, do you remember the winds of Elbrus?

Economics aside, what an absolutely poisonous position on expertise. Actually, we all have some ways to choose what to believe beyond blind institution trust! It's not some absurd indignity when the pronouncements of experts are questioned by the laity.

Feeling a certain way... If I was on Twitter I'd probably post something like "just got oneshot by the archaic torso of apollo". That said I do still probably need to change my life

I had a very strong vision of a photo of a group of rodent people in a burrow all looking at the camera, and in the vision I knew that people were using the photo as a reaction image in a way that was disrespectful of the rodent people, and I felt very defensive of the rodent people

It's a funny one. YA as a marketing term, initially at least, targeted a sort of aspirational maturity, teenagers looking forward & seeing themselves on the cusp of adulthood. Whereas new-adult is looking backward, people in their mid twenties seeing themselves as just barely an adult.
