    World's going to hell in a handbasket. Here's 3 goslings hatched yesterday guarded by their 3 very stroppy parents.

    Ages ago I read a book about The Myall Creek Massacre by Mark Tedeschi, a sobering experience, although I learned a bit about en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Pl... who was both devoutly religious and wedded to the separation of church and state. We need a lot more of him and a lot less of the zealots.

    And from here in drought ridden regional Victoria, we're not even vaguely choked up about net zero, in fact we'd bloody like some action on climate change so we didn't have to live through climate extremes and massive bushfires.

    Hi, regional Queenslander here. People in the regions aren't crying because of net zero. They're crying because extreme weather events caused by global heating are washing away their homes, killing their livestock and sending their insurance premiums through the roof.
