It's not enough to resign when ordered to violate your oath, to file lawsuits after illegal orders are carried out, hoping the courts will help. Chain the doors shut when DOGE arrives, refuse to carry out illegal orders or resign, put the burden on them to ask the courts to force you to comply.

Even "Get me a lawyer, dawg" was rejected as not being sufficient for police to Mirandize the suspect because he could have been referring to a "lawyer dog."

You keep criminals in prison to protect your community. You let them out to fight fires to protect your community. Maybe you should consider the fact that they are part of your community. And your community failed them. And continues to fail them.

So you must now articulate your right to silence before being apprised that you have that right, or else your silence can be used as evidence of guilt.

Don't yuk someone else's yum, unless their yum is taking your rights away.

Capital punishment is immoral, ineffective, and expensive. Full stop. It doesn't matter what the crime is. It's never the right choice.

I’m currently still on trial in Italy and I have a verdict coming in 4 days. The waiting is the hardest part. So I turn to my comforts, like Star Trek. You probably know that it’s always been a progressive show, but it’s also featured many wrongful convictions!
