As a big Shida fan it does wind up bittersweet. In a lot of ways the seeming disconnect between fan sentiment and company priority with her feels... A jeez it sucks to say but it does feel feddy. She doesn't need a title anymore, just give her a proper program.

Okay I was worried with the whole painmaker thing we'd try to go hardcore, but we've gone goofy. DEFINITELY the right call. #AEW

Imagine candidates as a statue. Getting them elected is putting the base and block in place. You then shape the block via criticism, including some that's a bit of a hard whack to dislodge large sections. You don't just put a block on a pedestal and go "This is a statue! Applaud me!"

Iffy first half but they really got it in the close there. Ending was VERY cool. #AEW
