My mom and I both live with cancers that are treatable with cutting edge therapeutics. Without these medications, these cancers, leukemia and ovarian cancers would be fatal. Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are trying to defund our access to healthcare. #DontKillOurMedicaid.

On #WorldCancerDay the Senate finance committee approved RFK Jr to a full Senate confirmation. For cancer patients like myself this is a slap in the face. I do not have confidence in his ability to lead the nation’s healthcare systems. He is unqualified to lead the thousands of employees of the HHS.

It is because @barackobama.bsky.social signed the Affordable Care Act 15 years ago that for the last 9 years I have had the life saving immunotherapy drugs that fight my Chronic leukemia. A drug I will have to take for the rest of my life and I will defend the ACA for the rest of my life.
