    My favorite part is when Musk says more Europeans die from heat than Americans die from guns.

Finland's president and Norway's prime minister started workshopping their text messages to Trump, talking about which words they should render in capital letters. Sometimes, the Norwegian leader preferred his Finnish counterpart to send a message. Nordic officials worried that the mere mention of Norway, home of the Nobel Peace Prize, could reopen a sore wound.

    It is new. Trump is trying to break the world record for most fireworks. So they're setting off 850,000 fireworks in the span of 40 minutes.

    Apparently in a normal year it's like 17,000-20,000 fireworks for this show.

    A report on the ground from the ICE shooting in Biddeford that should make every parent in this country lose their minds:
    Cecelia Humiston, 22, lives on Chapel Street. She was asleep with her two-year-old son when she woke up to the sounds of a commotion on surrounding streets. When she went to investigate, she saw what appeared to be a person lying on the ground on Pool Street. She remembers hearing an older woman with a distressed family, yelling, “You took her dad, you took her dad!” “They were with a little girl, she couldn't have been older than three,” Humiston said. “She was still in her Bluey pajamas.” Humiston described law enforcement as “rude,” and said they barricaded family’s car from leaving. Another yelled at the little girl, who was trying to smell flowers.

    Another odd moment occurred when Musk insisted that work in the future would be "optional" because robots would do everything.

    Musk said people might still work in the future but compared it to people who grow their own backyard tomatoes. He said they could just go to the store for better tomatoes.
