There is no mass-deportation campaign going on right now. Deportation is a process.

This is kidnapping and human trafficking.

They’ve called armed federal officers to the scene. We aren’t dangerous. We are here to represent our people. To defend public education. This is an authoritarian regime. You cannot block members of Congress from entering the Department of Education.

We’ve been on the phone with multiple agencies/orgs. They’ve been completely cut off from federal money. We’re talking housing, homeless services, public safety, etc.

I’m calling a press conference today to explain how this could have drastic local impacts to our constituents.

We are marching to Senator Thune’s office. There must be accountability for the detainment of a Senator. This is not normal.

We were just told that they won’t let us in. They are denying entry to 2 dozen members of Congress. Elon Musk has all our private information & we have no idea what he’s doing with it. This is happening completely behind closed doors. HELL NO. It’s illegal. We demand oversight!

Working people across the nation are pissed off about this rigged economy, and they’re showing up. Wichita’s Congressman refuses to host a Townhall, so we pulled up instead.

We just walked out of the state of the Union. My shirt showed Trump an important message: NO KINGS LIVE HERE.

In the spirit of student protestors from the Civil Rights Movement, I’m proud to have protested and walked out with many of my colleagues. This is NOT a normal time.

Just got off the phone with a medical provider who accepts Medicaid. Because they are shut out from the Medicaid portal, they might not be able to make payroll. They exclusively serve low-income Floridians.

Republicans ran into the room to SHEILD Elon Musk from having to come and speak to Congress. They want their billionaire takeover done behind closed doors. The people deserve transparency. No one elected Elon Musk.

U.S. Attorneys are not the President’s lawyers. They are the United States’ lawyers. You didn’t pledge an oath to a President, you pledged it to the constitution. This statement alone is reason enough to resign.

I'm not sure how you can be against removing this man from office right now. What will it take? A nuke being dropped? It's too late then. The purpose of impeachment and the 25th Amendment is to prevent that type of thing from happening, not just to react to it.

An unelected billionaire was crowned co-President by the Republican Party. They’ve given him the influence to make a damn post that throws a spending bill into limbo cause House Republicans are scared of him.

No greater example of oligarchy. Where the ultra-wealthy run the show.

Unacceptable. There are 189,000 people in my district who will be paying 50–300% more for the same, and in many cases worse, healthcare.

Speaker Johnson should just take the L on this vote. Most of America doesn’t want this bill to pass anyways. It’s it both the worst and most unpopular piece of legislation in modern history.

I only need 5 minutes to complete my financial disclosures every year cause I own zero stocks. The same should be true for all members of Congress. We must ban Congressional stock trading.

Every Democratic state that can do this, should do this.

Then, when we control the levels of power in DC, we ban gerrymandering for the entire country. Once and for all. Everyone playing by the same rules.

DOGE is nothing more than two billionaires cosplaying as government officials. I’m all for making government for efficient, but these guys just want to slash resources for agencies that help working people.
