The Obama Center is the new Kennedy Center until the Kennedy Center has been wrestled from the grubby hands of assholes.

Scott Pelley is leaving, but not before he drops a big stack of receipts on what happened at 60 minutes.
It's worse than you could have imagined, and bless this man for fighting as hard as he could and then tearing down the blackout curtains so we could see what's happening inside.
@netflix.com should take all these fantastic and fearless journalists and create a news arm.
With CNN up next for the integrity dissection, Netflix could create a world class, worldwide news stream with global reach on their global platform.
If you agree, share this.
If you don't, that's cool too.
The thing about voting I don’t understand is that congress voted for all the Epstein Files to be released and the White House won’t do it.
83,000 cameras used to hunt a woman down a woman in Texas.
The police learned the State could not statutorily charge for taking the pill to cause the abortion or miscarriage of the non-viable fetus.”
They hunted her anyway.
@jamestalarico.bsky.social - this feels like a Texas issue.
Every now and then I go to the hell site to make sure I still have access to my @.
I saw this and thought it was pretty great.
Tom Steyer wrote this two weeks ago.
Since then, Boyle Heights has been in a state of emergency and the guy who spent $250 million on a mid-life / late-life crisis of relevance hasn’t had sh*t to say about Angelinos since.
He’s exactly who we knew he was.
Could have stood up for
Epstein victims. Didn’t.
Could have taken a stand against the useless war. Didn’t.
Could have taken a stand against corruption, grift and incompetence.
Didn’t.
At every turn, given the chance to do something courageous, Vance did not.
COWARD.
No tienes que ir a la Casa Blanca. Eso son dos victorias para ti, España.
“You have to respect the President.”
Like he did Obama?
Like he did Biden?
That’s a no from me, dog.
Steyer is PISSED Y'all.
He should have backed candidates with his message that are relatable non-billionaires. He still has that chance.
Will he commit the same $200+ million to defeat republicans around the country? To flip the House and the Senate?
Because otherwise: Performative
They’re pulling Trump’s name off the Kennedy Center and it feels like this:
Oh, for f**k sake.
So the troops have to meet the physical standard, but their “commander-in-chief” does not?
These guys can’t even do anything nice for the troops without being dicks.
I hate this decade.
You know what sucks about this red card shit with Trump?
America did amazing and won, despite a bad call.
Balogun accepted it like a man.
Then the diapered baby complained and it was overturned.
Which casts a shadow over the team and the next match.
Like the 250th, everything he touches dies.
I remember this.
I wasn’t even a teen and I remember the joy, the community, the shared experience of it all.
Maybe that’s why I’m as angry and disappointed as I am.
This could have brought us together as a people.
Instead, we were divided so one monster could line his pockets.
And I resent that.
During Obama we had:
* A deal with Iran without an embarrassing surrender
* a reflecting pool that reflected instead of looking like a vomit filled arm pit
* a family that represented the “family values” the GOP says they care about
* A White House with class
* zero kid-f**kers at the resolute desk
“and then they came for me”
No politician should feel this comfortable in their position.
