Now, in most states, if a Senator dies unexpectedly, a governor can appoint their replacement. In South Carolina that worked out just fine for Republicans when Lindsey Graham died unexpectedly, but Kentucky now has a Democratic governor. This creates a problem for Republicans.

Mitch McConnell is dead. I told you he was dead. And that is because he is dead. And buried. Or more likely cremated, waiting for the 100 day mark before they announce his transition to the depths of hell. I assume. On all counts.
