The acting director of ICE told Congress, under oath, that local law enforcement in Colorado leaked raid plans, allowing gang members to escape.

After 9NEWS questioned ICE's claim and its timeline, ICE deleted the claim from its social media platforms.

Gov. Jared Polis passed over other deserving inmates to give clemency to Tina Peters, according to two members of his clemency board who revealed Polis overruled the unanimous recommendation of his experts. Polis has now fired both of them.

NEW: Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told Congress today that local law enforcement in Colorado leaked word of a raid, allowing gang members to clear out of apartments.

Those apartments were being cleared out weeks earlier.

Tonight, ICE deleted social media posts with the claim.

Peters is 70 (not 73), does not have cancer, was sentenced by a judge in Mesa County (not the Governor), and did not expose fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Journalists, please remember that repeating obviously false statements is not balance or fairness. It is actively participating in deception.

Protesters swarmed an ICE facility in Durango, CO demanding two children detained with their father be released to their mother. Durango Police say they also offered to help reunite the kids with their mother. They were unsuccessful.

Trump vetoes bill to fund Arkansas Valley conduit in Colorado

President Trump vetoed a bill to fund a pipeline project to bring clean drinking water to communities on the Eastern Plains between Pueblo and Lamar.

Colorado Gov Jared Polis (D) released Tina Peters, saying she was remorseful despite obvious evidence to the contrary.

“I do show remorse,” Peters said today. “The remorse is that people that should be in prison are not. That's my remorse.”
