    We are not all like J.K Rowling, she's a scumbag, and most people in the UK despise her due to this. More people have attended vigils held for Brianna Ghey than attended TERF protests. When Brianna Ghey was murdered, I posted on Tumblr a rant on how Harry Potter funds transphobia.

    Some books that has never received a print run for at least twenty years should get priority over rereleases of the same book. Do we need yet another Harry Potter rerelease when the books are a dime a dozen in Charity Shops, when there are books that haven't been rereleased in decades.

    I grew up with Harry Potter, and the last J.K Rowling novel I read was a Strike novel, and it was the latter that I realised that "She's not a great writer".

    the one who can defeat the main threat until he ends up defeating him; he ends up defeating the threat not because he is told to, but because he feels he has to. One of his main traits is he doesn't always think with his head, which can make him pretty reckless.

    People have realised SLAPPs affect whistleblowers, sex abuse victims and journalists, as well as the general public. The public wants to speak out on J.K Rowling as well as the other powerful celebrities, but can't due to harassment or loss of finances, one example being the Underhill vs Watson

    In hindsight, Harry Potter never really innovated, and rereading the books as an adult, you realise that the story has plotholes, and every single character is mean-spirited even for the time period the books were written in.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again. Do not come to the United Kingdom just to see Harry Potter-related tourist attractions. Do not visit Kings Cross station just so you can visit the Harry Potter tat shop with a massive queue outside. Do come here to visit queer bookshops.

The Times understands that the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has sent fresh guidance to Bridget Phillipson, the women and equalities minister, which reflects the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman in terms of the Equality Act. That judgment in April ruled sex was defined biologically in terms of the act and the new guidance will warn shops, gyms, the NHS and other public bodies that if they say a facility is single-sex it would have to exclude transgender people who did not biologically match that sex. It is understood the guidance includes the warning that if a service is provided only to women and trans women, or only to men and trans men, this could amount to unlawful sex discrimination against those who cannot use it. So if a changing room allows women and trans women, a man could claim discrimination. It will also say that a woman using that service could be the victim of unlawful sex discrimination or that it could lead to unlawful harassment. If a service provider chooses only to provide mixed-sex facilities, without a single-sex option, this could also count as either direct or indirect sex discrimination against women, especially if they are likely to be in a state of undress or cannot choose an alternative service. Organisations do not have to offer single-sex spaces under the guidance, but if they do they must be based on biology. The guidance is likely to say that organisations should consider a separate service for transgender people if they wish to retain single-sex spaces. Separate health and safety regulations say that workplaces must have separate lavatories for men and women, “except where each toilet is in a separate room lockable from the inside”.

Harry Potter has always been trash" and straight up announced I will delete my Harry Potter fanfiction, something I followed through in 2023. Looking
