Everyone’s talking about how the AI bots made by Meta are bad, but just a reminder you can make your own Meta AI chatbot right inside Messenger and there’s definitely no problems there

“Knee surgery” is the hottest meme right now. Specifically the Grinch saying he has knee surgery tomorrow. There are dozens of blinch (blue grinch) knee surgery meme accounts on Instagram. This is what your children are doing

Starting to believe the biggest determinant in young men's political alignment is how much time they spend working out. Not because like some believe, exercise has some magical effects on mindset. Purely because hours in the gym means lots of time to listen to podcasts.

I feel like people were pretty restrained on here about the fact the paper of record said a certain someone almost certainly pees their pants all the time

Wow, the Atlantic looked at what Meta stole for AI training, and made a search tool where you can see what it sucked up via LibGen (a pirated data set of books).

Let's check one thing real quick.... ok yup

I was about to post a bit where I had changed my display name to “Mark Zuckerberg” and was announcing I had bought Bluesky, but I deleted bc I figured I should show some professional restraint, and I would like some recognition for my healthy choice here

Seeing a lot of negativity about this. I always take one of these pics -- such a cute and creative way to share my personal brand. I also always ask the TSA agent to take a video of me going though the detector. Sometimes I have to have them retake it a few times. Lighten up!

What I appreciate here is that the FT scored a video interview with Sam Altman (a high profile get!) for a conceit where he makes lunch and then another FT writer just ruthlessly savages his kitchen appliances and cooking techniques. www.ft.com/content/b180...

When you're age 12-25, your main goal is to gain fluency in the pop culture of people 5-10 years older than you. When you turn 35, this turns exactly opposite. If you fail at either end, I can't help you

I have learned that Gen Z expects the person calling to say "hello" first, instead of the person answering; upending a century of phone norms. You know what? fine, I say. Phone calls aren't what they used to be anyway www.businessinsider.com/gen-z-phone-...
