I know we’re in dark, dark times. Tonight I did a stand up show in San Jose. That audience was kind, raucous and laughed throughout. Many of them had been protesting. I’m tryin all new material. It felt as if they were hugging me with their laughter and they got ME through the show.

In Seattle & I just taped my 22nd stand-up comedy special! I paid for it myself & I don’t know if anyone will buy it, so wish me luck. I cannot thank the audience enough. They stood at the beginning. They stood at the end. I’m so grateful to be back to work making audiences share laughter together.

Did you know that I schedule FaceTime “coffee clutches” nearly every morning.? It helps me with my PTSD tremendously. I was always an in person type of gal, but even after FaceTime I feel like I’ve actually spent time with this person. It calms me down and gets me out of my own head.

Like is it appropriate here to say that I have been so depressed lately, and the murder in Minneapolis just broke me to the point where I actually called my shrink and said “I think something is chemical. I’m so depressed. I think I need to be on antidepressants”. So I’m just being honest w you guys
