What we all just witnessed had all the earmarks of a criminal conspiracy to deprive Abrego-Garcia of his constitutional rights, as well as an impeachable offense. The fraud scheme was a phony agreement engineered by the US to have Bukele say he lacks power to return Abrego Garcia and he won't do it.

The White House basically gave Boasberg no choice. And unless they start cooperating very quickly, possibly even if they do, they’re looking at criminal contempt like a freight train. That’s going to raise some tricky issues of penalty, but the underlying finding should be secure. What total jerks.

Chief of Nashville, criminal division resigns over decision to charge Abrego Garcia. That’s a big story and the details will likely be very damning for the administration.

The DOJ sandwich thrower as it turns out is a much decorated active duty staff Sergeant in the Marines. He identified himself immediately and offered to self surrender to the felony charge, but they sent 20 officers to arrest him. What a debacle it would be if the grand jury declines to indict.

Pentagon announces that it has formally accepted the "palace in the sky" jet from Qatar. Plain and simple violation of the Emoluments Clause without congressional approval. Don't think this is over.

Strong rumor with credible sourcing: DOJ has put all of public integrity line attorneys in a room and told them they have an hour for someone to choose who will sign motion to dismiss and if nobody does, they will all be fired. The nastiest strong-arming in DOJ history by a long shot.

If That’s a donation, it goes to the treasury and only congress can decide how to spend it. No such (lawful) thing as private payment of government obligation.

Bove reported favorably out of Committee in straight party line vote, 12-10. A new nadir for the R Judiciary Committee and a disgusting result--rewarding someone who jumped to sacrifice the rule of law & violate his oath to serve a tyrant and then lied about it. Wretched, even by current standards.

Rather than participate in the travesty, the Dems walked out of the Bove vote, which therefore was officially 12-0. Really a day that should live in infamy -- a result of so many different acts of corruption and malfeasance.

DOJ files for 30 more days to answer complaint in Abrego Garcia. That’s needlessly dilatatory, but it’s the sort of motion that is routinely granted. Not this time. Judge Xinis denies it and orders them to file today. More concrete cost for their shabby lawyering and squirrelly evasions.

Ed Martin at it again with harassing letter to Alexander Vindman saying he’s received inquiries that he wants Vindman to answer. Good for him, but that’s not how it works and he knows it. Find some probable cause for a crime and convene a grand jury, or back off.
