Uh guys? NBC just found out a DHS staffer accidentally added a journalist to an email thread about an ICE raid in Denver. Yeah, a completely separate incident.
THAT staffer is being punished — so why aren’t Hegseth & Waltz???
Well well well. The AP researched the list of 800 “doctors” who submitted a letter endorsing RFK Jr… and found most weren’t doctors. They found an accountant, a health “coach,” a Jan 6er, etc. And some who were doctors had had their licenses revoked or suspended.
He must NOT be confirmed.
Here’s my ask of you today:
I want you to engage with EVERY article/post you see about Signalgate. Like, comment, share. Every one.
The reason why the media kept talking about Hillary’s emails was because every story & post about it got massive engagement.
Sound good?
Free speech is so important to the fabric of our nation that it is in the very First Amendment.
This is the GULF OF MEXICO.
Hey guys, we need to talk about the 14th Amendment. Because it’s clearly on your mind… 🧵
Hegseth was forced out as CEO of both Concerned Veterans for America and Vets for Freedom for being "frequently drunk, fostering a hostile work environment for female staffers and spending non-profit funds on personal expenses."
He is unfit.
Dear America,
I want more of this.
Thanks.

Throughout the election, we begged the media to stop focusing on the horse race, and instead discuss the **impact** that the candidates’ policies would have.
Now that the election is over, they’re choosing to focus on, wait for it, how **fast** Trump is making cabinet nominations. They’re useless.
I can’t let the day go by without reminding everybody about this wonderful moment, exactly 8 years ago, when Obama bestowed Biden with the Medal of Freedom. Biden‘s reaction is everything. Man, am I gonna miss him.
**Good News**
The AP just called the race for Ohio’s 9th district — Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D) defeated her Republican challenger. This is a HOLD.
Penn Wharton analyzed the GOP tax bill and found they’re hurting the lowest earners.
Like folks making between 17,000 - 51,000 will LOSE $700 on average.
Make less than 17,000? You stand to lose $1,000 annually.
Literally reverse Robin Hoods. The GOP are monsters.
At a time when so many powerful people are bending the knee to Donald Trump, it’s incredibly important that we lift up acts of resistance.
Yesterday, the celebrated editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit the Washington Post when they killed the cartoon below. This is what courage looks like.
Posting terrible facts about Hegseth until he withdraws as Trump’s DOD nominee:
Pete Hegseth has close ties with Christ Church, a controversial congregation in Moscow, Idaho, that aims to turn America into a theocracy.
Call your Senators.
MAGA: What I like best about Trump is no wars!
Trump on Day 13: “I’ve ordered military air strikes on Somalia.”
🤦♀️
The cartoons coming out of Canada right now are hilarious. This one from Toronto Star’s Theo Moudakis.
95% of jobs in the U.S. require a background check. But Sen Bill Hagerty (TN) is on TV this morning saying that Trump’s Cabinet nominees shouldn’t be forced to have one?
Absolutely not. Call your Senators & demand full FBI checks. Americans want to feel safe & we won’t be with an unvetted Cabinet.
Let me get this straight.
Today, Trump blew up the economy then skipped town to hang out with Saudis at a golf tournament instead of receiving the four soldiers who died in Lithuania??
**Good News**
The New Mexico Supreme Court ruled unanimously that local governments cannot restrict abortion services, striking down ordinances adopted by 4 New Mexico counties.
**Good, if surprising, News**
Justice Neil Gorsuch has recused himself from a case after ethics watchdogs and Democratic lawmakers urged him to step aside because the outcome will likely affect the financial interests of a billionaire to whom he has longstanding ties.
“Home-growns are next.”
I feel sick.
I hope every reporter in the Capitol tomorrow hounds Republicans and asks them this question:
“On what authority can Elon Musk shut down payments Congress promised to federal contractors?”
Hegseth has been clear he thinks the U.S. should commit war crimes. He’s urged Trump to bomb cultural sites—a clear war crime—and 'rewrite the rules' of war to be 'advantageous to us'. And then to protect those folks, he wants Trump to pardon war criminals.
We can’t let him be Defense Secretary.
