There's a massive industry in talking down large scale transport projects (such as a metro) whilst simultaneously bemoaning that there aren't any large scale transport projects (such as a metro).

One would think that the skorts issue would be the ideal thing for the "save women's sports" people to campaign about. They appear to be an anachronism that is causing physical discomfort and not wanted by the majority of those who are forced to wear them.
