I’m seeing so much praise for John Leguizamo and it’s still not enough
Officially starting my youtube channel today, with a video that begins with Amadeus, and the ethics of fictionalizing history, but gradually veers into Ryan Murphy shows and When We Cease to Understand the World.
As this video’s topic starts with A, next week’s will start with B. Any guesses?
Will never pass up an opportunity to repost leon’s dramatization of this
“Nolan’s next movie should be Moby Dick” “Nolan’s next movie should be the helicopter movie” Haven’t you guessed by now? His next movie will be Oppenheimer
If you keep scrolling, the story ends. But if you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes, imagine Scooby Doo saying it.

One thing I really liked about The Odyssey is that I am personally pretty allergic to supernatural elements in *most* films and “character gets chewed out by ghost of a guy he sent to his death” is something I’d usually experience as slightly hokey but wow did that scene hit
“verify your age” I watched Marge vs. The Monorail on live television but didn’t see Cheers for the first time until I was an adult
Godfather 2 is better than Godfather 1 which is better than Goodfellas which is better than Godfather 2
I enjoy this as a funny anecdote but also lament the world we were deprived of in which understanding such an unknowable character became Redford’s singular obsession as an actor
Would be funny if Tenet was a lot subtler originally and then they had to add all the lines like “including my son” so Pattinson could follow it
I don’t believe that A.I. will ever be authentically funny but I do believe that it will be funnier than Elon Musk by the end of the year
Hannibal while Will’s channeling the cruelest and most excruciating emotions known to mankind
Was not expecting The Odyssey to be a Rachel Getting Married reunion but go figure
The place names in Hannibal are so gothic and evocative. Wolf Trap, Baltimore…
Just accidentally wrote Richard Nixon’s name as Rixon Nixon
