It feels like we're all pretty much waiting for news that Mitch McConnell has been irreversibly incapacitated or dead for weeks and the GOP has been doing their damnedest to keep it covered up.

I’ve lived in D.C. for nearly 20 years, and I have never seen this kind of Lord of the Flies panic on the National Mall.

It is not a great look that some senior Democratic leaders have had time to put out statements on social media about how much they'll miss Lindsey Graham but haven't had time to talk about these latest executions carried out by Trump's gestapo in American streets.

Hey, look, Messi is great and clearly the greatest of all-time at soccer, but Serena won a grand slam while she was pregnant.

Yesterday, the Pentagon listed 18 service members had died in the War in Iran.

Because 18 had, in fact, died.

Today, their website has 14 service members having died. Four service members were removed from the total.

It's important for us all to acknowledge these white supremacists aren't marching with masks and sunglasses in our Nation's Capital out of personal safety. They're masked because they're cowards. They lack conviction. They're gutless. They're timid. They're soft.

They were baked in one of the hottest summer days D.C. has experienced in a long time, and now, they're being evacuated because of a thunderstorm approaching the National Mall and scrambling to find shelter.

It's as though the writers did way too much cocaine during this script meeting.

Nirav Shah has a medical degree and law degree, speaks four languages, is a public health expert, finished 2nd in the Maine Dem primary for governor, seems liked and respected, and frequently makes dinner at home with his brilliant wife.

I hate him already. He'd make an exceptional U.S. senator.
