I hope those load bearing followers know how much they mean to artists. Regulars, esp regular commenters that engage your work and story do not go without notice and are to be cherished. It's esp why I try to reply to let them know! (and why I wish I could keep track of any I've missed replying to )

Happy Halloween 2024, a little Moth Witch Maia for you all

#art #oc #witch #halloween #solivaga #maia

It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.

Pixar was the single handed most misogyny I ever experienced to my face in my life, stemming from my work being "too girlish" with an insinuated, but never directly stated "and too gay", while also complaining that I was perplexing for not behaving like their perception of a normal "woman"

Cosmic Marvel @dailycosmicmarvel.bsky.social

Pixar CCO Pete Docter says they removed gay elements from ‘ELIO’ after finding some parents didn’t want entertainment forcing conversations with their kids they weren’t ready for. “We’re making a movie, not hundreds of millions of dollars of therapy.” (via www.wsj.com/business/med...)

Heads up that shit-site is restoring deleted posts. Checked on mine and found most of my account restored, including the art i deleted. Time to cut the rot off completely. Not worth leaving up even for a link back.

Oh wait did I never post the close up for the Strength card? Well, hm. Time to fix that!
