Striking: New Quinnipiac poll finds 56% of voters nationally oppose Trump's sending of National Guard into DC. Only 41% support it. Independents oppose it by 61-34. Trump's overall approval on crime is cratering at 42-54. That sound you hear is a lot of dimwitted pundit narratives imploding.

I think one of the reasons you hear so much visceral anger coming from Dems about politics these days is bc for years now we’ve been expected to respond with dignity and respect (which we do) when political violence touches the GOP. But when it touches us - we get the Mike Lee’s of the world.

I would bet all my 25 years in politics that if you polled “do you support or oppose the President cancelling late night talk shows bc a comedian disagrees with him” that the oppose numbers will be off the charts everywhere.
